M.I.A. "Bad Girls"

The last thing I really liked by M.I.A. was "Kala" anything she did after to me was not as good. And her behavior in the press was a far contrast to what the message of her music was...the truffle fries incident..the house in Brentwood CA.. anyone??
Anyhow I knew she released a single earlier this year called "Bad Girls" and since I wasn't all that interested I didn't pay any attention and didn't give the song a listen, that is until last week when my yoga teacher played "Bad Girls" in class and I liked it.  I liked it so much that I went home and I downloaded it. Below is the video for "Bad Girls", what do you guys think?

Check it out: Christopher Paul Stelling

Brooklyn based singer songwriter Christopher Paul Stelling has a new album called "Songs of Praise and Scorn" and it is brilliant! Stelling's sweet voice is on par with that of Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley and his lyrics and his lyrics read like beautiful classic Americana novels. When you listen to Christopher Paul Stelling's music you get the wonderful feeling as if you are a character in a  John Steinbeck novel.

Posted below are the songs "Mourning Train To Memphis" and "Solar Flares" of which can be found on the new album. If you like what you hear and want to hear more you can purchase "Songs of Praise and Scorn" by clicking here, it's well worth it..trust me!
