Greenwood Cemetery Series Part Duex

Today was another unseasonably warm January day in New York City (global warming at work!) and I took full advantage of today's spring like weather and headed back to Greenwood Cemetery to take more pictures with my fancy photo apps. This time I took pictures of the other side of Greenwood and I wound up getting some shots of the final resting places of some of the famous and infamous folks interred in Greenwood.

The well known people whose graves I shot today include; civil war era pastor and abolitionist Henry Ward Beecher, adventuress and dancer Lola Montez, theater actress and witness to Lincoln's assassination: Laura Keene, infamous 19th century New York politician Boss Tweed, ASPCA founder Henry Bergh and Leonard Bernstein

Today's roaming music was the Beach Boys' "Pet Sounds" and "The Smile Sessions". When I got to Leonard Bernstein's grave "Surfs Up" came onto my ipod and at that point I placed my hands on Bernstein's grave and asked the Maestro for his creative energy to flow to me and all I know.... it was cosmic!

None the less here are my photos from today's Greenwood Cemetery adventure.
