Time and time again on this blog I have often waxed poetic about a one Dolly Parton. I just love her "Dollyisms" and her music, in fact I often find that after a lousy day turning on Dolly's music and reading her "Dollyisms" on her twitter feed will make me feel like I got a big old hug and a hang in there speech from Dolly herself!
And apparently I'm not the only Brooklyn indie rocker who loves Dolly many of my Brooklyn indie rock friends love her just as much as I do, so much in fact that we've already got our tickets for next Friday night's premier of her new film "Joyful Noise".
In this blog post I've included one newer Dolly video "Jesus and Gravity" and one older Dolly video "Jolene" which is one of my favorite songs by her....I wish I could hit those high notes like she does on "Jolene"! Enjoy and I hope watching you feel happier after watching these clips like I always do.
And to make you feel really happy I'm throwing in a live Radical Dads clip, the name of this song is "Walking Wires".
