Happy New Year!

A reminder to all of you who are looking for something to do tonight in Brooklyn, the Whatever blog will be co presenting the New Years Eve party at the Rock Shop in Park Slope. Wojcik, Jake Zavracky and Cornbred will be playing, there will be a DJ upstairs and drink specials all night. All this amazingness will only cost you $5, you can pre order your tickets here or just come to the Rock Shop which is located at 249 Fourth Avenue btw President and Carroll Streets in Brooklyn. The fun starts at 7pm and goes till after 2012 has been rung in.

About two years ago I had the pleasure of chatting with the wonderful and amazing alt country folk artist Miss Alexandra Scott.

Fast forward two years and Alexandra Scott has a new album out called "Pistachio Pearl".

The songs on "Pistachio Pearl" are really very beautiful, Alexandra's lyrics read like a brilliant Southern drama, the melodies of the songs on "Pistachio Pearl" are hauntingly perfect and Miss Scott's voice on each track is just stunning. Listening to "Pistachio Pearl" will make you feel like a total sweetheart of the rodeo!
