Hilly Eye is made up of Amy Klein formally of Titus Andronicus and Catherine Tung. Hilly Eye is so beyond awesome and they are playing the Whatever blog holiday party on 12/15 at the Cake Shop in Manhattan in case you didn't know.

Diamond Rugs (Diamond and Dad seem to be the new Wolf and Deer for band names these days) is an alt country punk super group, members include John McCauley and Robbie Crowell from Deer Tick, Ian Saint Pe from the Black Lips, Steve Berlin from Los Lobos, Hardy Moris from Dead Confederate and Bryan Dufresne of Six Finger Satellite. Diamond Rugs have realeased a holiday song called "Christmas in a Chinese Restaurant" that's sure to become a holiday rock and roll classic up there with the Kinks "Father Christmas".
