Today would have been the late great Freddie Mercury's 65th Birthday. To me Freddie Mercury was one of the greatest front men of all time. Queen is on my list of bands that I would have love to have seen when they were in their hey day. Just watching the clips of Queen live give me the chills in the way that Freddie would incorporate the crowd into the song.
And despite how much Stefani aka Lady Gaga compares herself to Freddie there will never be another Freddie!

It's odd because every time I talk to someone about the band Phosphorescent I wind up running into the band's guitar player at some random place it happens every time I mention that band.. totally true! And just a few days ago I was having a conversation with someone about Phosphorescent and what a good band they are and lo and behold who should I run into at Prospect Park today..the guitar player for Phosphorescent!
