We at that Whatever blog have all those effected by the devastating earthquake that took place in Haiti this past week in our thoughts and prayers. We're sending good vibes down to Haiti and donating to the relief efforts.
Both The Red Cross and Wyclef Jean's organization Yele Haiti let you make donations via text message from your phone. To donate to Yele Haiti's relief efforts you can text the word "Yele" to 501501 and that donates $5. For the Red Cross you need to text "Haiti" to the number 90999 and that donates $10. For all of you NYC residents Yele Haiti has a list of supplies that need to be sent to Haiti and a location in Brooklyn where you can drop them off, that link is below.

Kidrockers Philly 1/9/10 Pics
Myself, my niece, nephew, mom and sister attended the Drink Up Buttercup/Locksely Kidrockers show in Philly this past Saturday. Kidrockers is a great thing for all parents and all the little ones cause you all get to hear new awesome music that isn't Disney, Lady Gaga, "Veggie Tails" or Laurie Berkner! The Kidrocker hosts encourgage the kids to run around and dance while each band plays and before the last song the hosts have the kids ask the bands some questions. There were some pretty funny questions asked at yesterday's show! One kid asked if Locksely had any candy for her and my nephew asked Locksely if they liked Brooklyn! Another kid asked both Locksely and Drink Up Buttercup how they were doing, it was pretty funny! Then each band had the kids come up for the last song and play the egg shaker. My nephew played the egg shaker with Locksely for their last song he was busy devouring his chicken nuggets while Drink Up Buttercup had the kids come up for their last song. He was one hungry rocker by that time! The after he ate, he was part of the video that Drink Up filmed after their set and we'll post that on this blog once everything is finished! While my niece had a great time she was a little more reserved then her brother she took everything in from a far. When we left the venue after the show she renamed her stuffed puppy that she had with her Drink Up Buttercup!
Anyway here are the pictures from yesterday's show of the munchkins jamming with Locksely and Drink Up Buttercup and having a good old time! Note my nephew is the blond kid with the stripped hoodie, what kind aunt would I be if I didn't post a pic of him playing the egg shaker with Locksely or participating in DUB's video?!
