Below is a clip of a NYC based band that I think you all should check out called Hymns. Hymns has a really cool sound that is a mixture of The Flying Burrito Brothers, Wilco and The Velvet Underground. Hymns have played SXSW over the last two years. And they are due to play Rolling Stone Magazine's tribute to Bob Dylan along side of Nick and Fab from the Strokes and Russell Simins from the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion on May 21st at the Mercury Lounge right here in NYC. The clip below was shot at SXSW 2007 and the song in the clip below is called "Stop Talking" and it's just all sorts of awesome!
