This is a real Carrie Bradshaw type of post today. I seem to remember a "Sex In the City" episode based on this very question I'm about to ask. I'm sorta staying on the topic of music with this question.
The question I have to all you males in your 30's and older in the music industry and otherwise is, why girls in their early twenties?? Why not girls in their thirties?? Is it a control issue...a girl of 21 can be more easily controlled and will do what you want more so then a woman of 31?? And for all you musicians, rock supposedly keeps you young and is it cause you wanna stay young by dating a girl of 22?? Is it a matter of sexual experience, are you more turned on by a girl of 23 who is less sexually experienced then a woman of 33? Or does it just depend on the guy??
I'm curious to get your answers on this question!
Speaking of guys....this is the funniest song and video it's by Katy Perry and it's called "Your So Gay", the song and video could be directed at a lot of the guys I come across!

Is it possible that you are spurned by this 30-ish rocker guy, and writing this sour grapes screed disparaging young women? Yes, it is possible.
As far back as time has been kept, male emperors, theologists, scientists, artists and peasants have forfeited their minds, souls, coffers, and homes to the beauty and vitality of young girls.
That is not going to change. It's biological. There are some exceptions of course, but this one didn't pan out for you.
The great thing about women 18-25 is their bodies are so tight and firm and energetic! Their skin and hair are so lustrous and healthy! And they are less burdened with chasing careers, and they aren't demanding babies because their biological clock is fading! And they just love to party and have sex ALL THE TIME! I know that can be hard to understand at first, but it can be quite a revelation! They are awesome and loads of fun.
Maybe it's time to look at yourself and evaluate. Maybe you should change your standards. Date a bald guy, or find a dude shorter than you. There are other fish in the sea, as they say. Some are rockers. Some even have jobs.

First off, can I ask you where you once in love with an older woman and she rejected you?? Hence your hostility towards women 26 and older?
Second thing is I didn't mean for the post to come across as sourgrapes. I was having a Carrie Bradshaw moment and I wanted to pose a question to my male readers about something I have been noticing as of late.
Third thing is, that 30 something rocker is actually a friend who I have no interest in dating. I used him as an example and I deleted that part of the blog entry because I did something not so journalistic, I didn't ask him if I could use him as an example.
When I do my blog post about all the males and male rockers who love older women, perhaps I'll get a direct counterpoint quote from my friend who loves younger women.
And one last thing "The Truth", when women hit thirty they are at their sexual peak!

Well as a late 20's musician in a band where our guys are between 25 and 35 I say the real rockstars really don't care! We enjoy the attention. All the attention!
